The Kitchen Community is a 501c3 non profit organization founded in 2011 with the mission to create “community through food.” The organization impacts over 120,000 children a day with 200+ Learning Gardens in schools, primarily in underserved areas, across the country. Learning Gardens are outdoor classrooms and experiential play-spaces that connect kids to real food and empower them to make healthier food choices. They are designed to be a place where students want to learn and teachers want to teach. We believe in a future where every student has the opportunity to play, learn and grow in healthy communities. www.thekitchencommunity.org
