EARTH-RAMMED HOME: The High Park Fire in Colorado in 2012 took the Squibb’s family home. Mark Squibb, father and entrepreneur, decided to look at it as an opportunity to try something completely different and rebuilt an off-the-grid, earth-friendly dwelling utilizing the burned timbers, beetle-kill pine, donated old tires and the dirt from their property. What they created from their hard work is extraordinary as you can see in some of these photos. Check out Mark’s website to see all the innovations he created! http://ultracrib.com/
