16-Year Old Malala Yousafzai Shocks John Stewart

16-Year old Malala Yousafzai, is a Pakistani schoolgirl and advocate for education and women’s rights. While standing up for her rights to receive an education, Malala was shot in the head by the Taliban. She survived the attempted assassination, and has become an international advocate for human rights. She has recently received the EU’s Shkharov human rights prize, the Amnesty International Ambassador of Consciousness award, the Anna Politkovskaya Award and the Pride of Britain award and is a leading contender for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Malala appeared on John Stewart’s The Daily Show the other night, and demonstrated why she is such an inspirational woman.
